OMA SUT

The OMA Step Up Transformer (SUT) is specifically designed for low output moving coil (MC) cartridges.The low voltage output signal of these MC cartridges requires additional amplification before a tube phono stage, and a properly designed SUT is the best way to convert the current supplied by the cartridge to a higher voltage. Our SUT has a turns ratio of 1:10, appropriate for most MC carts with a medium internal impedance, such as Miyajima, most Ortofons, etc. The transformers are potted in a case of cast aluminum or bronze. Polished cases are available.
