I cannot emphasize enough how informative this site can be. Last year I devoted several months to reading Floyd Toole's book, written with work done with Olive, on the psychoacoustics of small rooms. This blog discusses a myriad of interesting topics, such as the veracity of live performance vs. speaker playback demos, and their historical context, the unique room at JBL designed by Toole for scientific and transparent (not visually) comparison of speakers, and numerous other topics of interest, I would hope, to anyone reading this forum.  The MP3 "philosophy" discussion is enough to warrant a visit, as the trajectory of digital is

Thanks for the link.

Remember that porn in any form is good in small doses but is easily abused.  SOmetimes a little off the range behavior is needed before getting back to our churchgoing ways ;D
