My latest live music experience.
Went to see Suzanne Vega perform her first album on the 25th anniversary of its release. It's always an experience to see someone who makes her songs personal and throws a lot of herself into her performance. WHile not my favorite artist she is definitely worth seeing live. Great show and and lest you are paying for someone who cares about what she is doing.
Think I've said this before but the City Winery is a great place to watch live music. it's an intimate place that allows you to watch the performer up close and personal. We were closer to the stage this time and while the speakers were a bit loud it wasn't too annoying. Don't know what kind of system they have but for the most part it stays out of the way.
